You can't please everyone in life, people will always hate you and people will always love you. If everyone likes you your whole life, you aren't doing something right.
Cordelia never stopped drinking completely, but she cut back drastically. She would have maybe one or two drinks, but she was more subtle about it and stopped getting really emotional when she was drunk. She drank a little the night of the Halloween party but I was sensing hostility from her and Darlen and I just wasn't in the mood to party, so I left early. I kept thinking I was crazy and that it was imagining it, but I guess I wasn't. Darlen really did hate me and Cordelia was pulling away. I found myself talking more and more to the other girls, but I tried not to betray Cordelia to them. I had no idea I had already done so. Good to know now I guess.
I gotta say, as much as I don't really care for Darlen, it's hard to hate someone who is so sad. Darlen has done some pretty rotten things to me and most of it is totally irrational, but I do feel sorry for her and her situation, even though she calls me Mandrea and wishes me dead LOL. Darlen has wronged me for no reason, and even if she apologized someday...
