Well, this episode was difficult for me to watch, for a number of reasons. First, it’s really intense to watch yourself crying about something that truly hurts you. Being involved in porn and its implications on my life is probably my most painful subject. As I said in the episode, it’s an open wound. I’ve really started to get over it, and strangely, the show has really helped me. Pornography was this dirty little secret that I carried around. I lived in constant fear that people would find out and treat me differently for it.

When I lived in Connecticut, some people in the area found out, and I was treated terribly. I was harassed both at my job in a coffee shop and at school. People would terrorize
