First, this episode did not show the 2 weeks I spent preparing for this party, the hours I spent on the phone, the shopping for décor on a very limited budget – this party monopolized my time for 2 weeks. I baked a million mini cupcakes the night before; I even went to Craig’s house that morning to set up the chocolate fountain with strawberries, marshmallows, pound cake, and cherries. I spent over 2 hours inflating balloons, and I barely had time to get ready that night. I was SO proud of that party. It was the best party I had ever gone to, and I had thrown it! After all that hard work, of course I was going to have a good time, party it up and enjoy the reward I had earned.
